Endurance Sports Heart Health and Longevity with Dr Chris Critoph

Dr Chris Critoph is interviewed by Greatest Hits Radio about trial medicine for heart failure

Listen to clips using the player above, from my recent interview with Greatest Hits Radio, where I discuss a trial I am principal investigator for at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. This trial utilises a special patch that patients wear on their abdomen, which delivers intravenous strength diuretics through the skin! This means patients can be managed in their own homes instead of hospital. If successful, this treatment could revolutionise the way cardiologists treat inpatients with heart failure.
